Dr. Emily Tollner
Director & Chiropractor
B.App.Sc (Clin.Sc.); B.Chiro.Sc
Emily graduated from RMIT University in Melbourne in 1998. She then moved to Perth, Scotland and after working as an associate for 2 years there and in Edinburgh, started her own Chiropractic practice in Edinburgh where she practiced for 5 years. Emily returned home to Sale and joined the McMillan Chiropractic team in 2006. She absolutely loves being a Chiropractor and has a keen interest in women’s health, children, babies and family health.
As well as being a Chiropractor, Emily is Mum to Freya, Isla and Finn and wife to Brett. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her family, travel, keeping fit and cooking. On weekends she is often found on the sidelines of the netball/ basketball court and football field cheering on her kids and their teammates.
Dr. Brett Blackmore
Director & Chiropractor

Brett graduated as a Chiropractor in 1995 and worked for many years in Glasgow, Scotland where he established a busy family based clinic. He returned to Australia and joined McMillan Chiropractic in 2014.
Brett has extensive post graduate training and experience in clinical neurology, rehabilitation and wellness/lifestyle management, which has seen him study and work in Australia, Europe and the USA.
In that time he has cared for a wide variety of people from the very young to seniors by focusing primarily on gentle, structural correction of the spine and improved nervous system function to enable optimal health and wellbeing. Brett has a special interest in providing Chiropractic Care to families.
Brett has a keen interest in soccer (Celtic FC) and is looking forward to renewing his passion for Aussie rules (Brisbane Lions). Brett and his family live by the principles of optimal health and wellbeing. Brett prides himself on being very fit, active and healthy and leads by example in how to live life to holistic and wellness principles.
Dr. Matthew Stringer
Director & Chiropractor

Dr Matthew Stringer is an experienced chiropractor based in Traralgon, Gippsland. He completed his Bachelor of Health Science (Chiropractic) and Masters of Clinical Chiropractic at RMIT University in 2015. Originally from Traralgon, Matt returned home to begin his chiropractic career and has been a valued member of the McMillan Chiropractic team ever since.
Matt specialises in chiropractic care for families, children, infants, and expectant mothers. He also provides treatment for sports injuries and ongoing sports maintenance, helping patients of all ages achieve optimal health and wellbeing. While these are his key areas of interest, Matt’s holistic approach to chiropractic care extends to all patients in the Gippsland community.
Passionate about long-term health, Matt draws on his own experience as a chiropractic patient from a young age to deliver personalised, patient-focused care. Outside of the clinic, he enjoys playing football, supporting the Western Bulldogs, and spending quality time with his wife and two young daughters.

Dr. Alexander Andrews
Chiropractor
PhD Candidate, BHlth&BiomedSc (Hons) BHSc/BAppSC (Chiropractic)
Alex graduated from RMIT University in 2018 with a Bachelor of Health Science and Bachelor of Applied Science (Chiropractic). He has a keen interest in musculoskeletal care, particularly lower back and lower limb conditions, and takes a holistic approach to treatment by looking at the body as a whole.
Alongside clinical practice, Alex is currently undertaking a PhD project in prosthetics, continuing his passion for research and improving patient outcomes.
Known for his friendly and approachable nature, Alex is always up for a chat and enjoys having a joke around with patients to help them feel comfortable and at ease during their visits.
Outside the clinic, he enjoys playing indoor soccer, running, and cooking. He’s also a passionate sports fan who keeps up to date with both AFL and soccer — and proudly supports Collingwood Football Club.
