Sarah Hobson– Adv Dip in Remedial Massage (Myotherapy)
From a very young age, I have always shown a strong interest in natural health care. Massage was something that was always on my mind. As I was studying and learning more about the human body and massage it made me realise how much I enjoyed helping people and that this was the right career path for me.
Using the techniques I was taught at The Australian College of Sports Therapy, I am able to assess and treat people accordingly to their specific needs.
My interests are working with stress related muscle tension and headaches. However, I cover a wide range of conditions related to muscles including sciatic pain, tennis elbow, strains sprains and many more.
I have been working as a qualified myotherapist since 2014 and every day is always something new, fun and challenging. The most exciting part of my job is seeing people relieved of pain and returning to their daily activities and really knowing you helped them.
I like to lead a pretty active lifestyle with interests in hiking, camping, sports and going to the beach over the summer time. I also have a keen interested in alternative healthcare. When I am not at work or playing outside with my bunny, Max, I’m at the gym participating in different exercise programs and weights training.
